The magnetic properties and their thermal dependences of Sc0.1Ti0.9Fe1
.96, Sc0.1Ti0.9Fe2 and Sc0.1Ti0.9Fe2.04 are compared with those of TiF
e2. The substitution changes the iron-iron distances. Consequently, th
e Fe atoms on the 6h site show in addition to the antiferromagnetic co
mponent a small ferromagnetic one, and a weak magnetic moment appears
on the 2a site.
