M. Malang et al., STRONG CRITICAL FLUCTUATIONS IN DOMAIN-WALLS IN SR HEXAFERRITE - EFFECT OF MAGNETIC-FIELDS, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 140, 1995, pp. 1873-1874
The domain wall (DW) relaxation rate Gamma(W) of the uniaxial Sr hexaf
errite in the region 0.9T(C) less than or equal to T-C = 740 K, displa
ys a deep minimum at T = 0.99T(C) due to a continuous 2D phase transit
ion from Bloch to linear domain walls. In fields parallel to the easy
axis, Gamma(W) is reduced by the increase of the DW spacing d, whereas
a perpendicular field increases Gamma(W). This feature is associated
with the increase of the DW order parameter m(B) with the field near t
he transition.
