C. Echavarrieta et al., EFFECTS OF TENSILE-STRESS ON THE DOMAIN-WALL DYNAMICS OF CO-BASED AMORPHOUS FERROMAGNETIC WIRES, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 140, 1995, pp. 1903-1904
Complex permeability measurements were performed on Co72.5B15Si12.5 am
orphous wires, as a function of tensile stress, at room temperature an
d in the frequency range 5 Hz - 13 MHz. Rotational and initial permeab
ilities showed a decrease as tensile stress increased. The domain wall
relaxation frequency exhibited a linear behavior as stress increased.
These results are interpreted in terms of the magnetoelastic contribu
tion to anisotropy.
