Abstract
Temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility and magnetization curve were obtained for Cd1-x-yMnxFeyTe single crystal. We find weak ferroma gnetic behavior only in the sample with x = 0.37 at which the electric al resistivity shows singular behavior. The origin of such weak ferrom agnetism would be ascribed to the s-d interaction between the band ele ctron and Fe ion.
