Abstract
The reason for the canted spin structure in several substituted hexafe rrites has become more clear by Fe-57 Mossbauer measurements on Cr3+ s ubstituted hexaferrites. In addition to previous investigations the si te occupation of two samples was determined by means of neutron diffra ction measurements at a temperature above the Curie point.
