We present original data on Faraday rotation and MCD in the garnet Ca3
ZrSbFe3O12 with magnetic Fe3+ ions situated in the tetrahedral sites.
The magneto-optical measurements were performed in the wavelength regi
on 0.42-1.15 mu m at temperatures of 6-300 K. The analysis of the spec
tral and temperature dependences of the one-ion-based FR model enabled
us to identify the individual contributions to the magneto-optical ef
fects.
