G. Bottoni, ROTATIONAL HYSTERESIS AND MAGNETIC-ANISOTROPY OF PARTICLES FOR MAGNETIC RECORDING, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 140, 1995, pp. 2207-2208
The rotational hysteresis energy losses have been measured as a functi
on of the applied field in particles for magnetic recording, where the
magnetic anisotropy is varied with addition of doping ions (magnetocr
ystalline anisotropy) or with densification of particles in the assemb
lies (shape anisotropy). Both the values of the rotational hysteresis
and the range of field where the losses occur result strictly related
to the magnetic anisotropy and to its evolution.
