Ok. Gavrilov et al., CONTENT OF FIBRONECTIN IN PLASMA OF PATIE NTS WITH ISCHEMIC-HEART-DISEASE AND POSSIBILITIES OF ITS CORRECTION BY EXTRACORPOREAL METHODS, Kardiologia, 35(1), 1995, pp. 18-20
Content of a high molecular glycoprotein fibronectin was determined in
plasma of patients with ischemic heart disease. Concentration of this
protein correlated directly with severity of the disease. In angina o
f functional classes II and III content of fibronectin did not differ
from normal values while in patients with angina class IV and unstable
angina fibronectin level was found to be high. Plasmapheresis and pla
smasorption with the use of carbonaceous FAS sorbent could be effectiv
e methods of correction of plasma fibronectin levels.
