Abstract
Dynamics of regional cerebral blood flow and filling was assessed in 8 patients with chronic disturbances of cerebral circulation treated by plasmapheresis. In patients with occlusive atherosclerosis of brachio cephalic arteries initial regional blood flow was decreased while regi onal filling and filling/flow ratio were increased at the site of pred ominant lesion. Plasmapheresis affected positively local cerebral bloo d flow and filling in these patients.
