DISCRETE CONVOLUTION BY MEANS OF FORWARD AND BACKWARD MODELING - COMMENT

A recent article by Porsani and Ulrych presented a method for calculat ing discrete convolution by means of a tap-delay line structure in con junction with the Levinson-Durbin recursions as a new alternative to t he conventional discrete convolution method. In this correspondence pa per, we show that care must be taken in implementing this algorithm.
