Abstract
Nineteen flavonoid aglycones and 18 flavonoid glycosides have been iso lated and identified from flowers of A. lonaifolia. The dominance of f lavone aglycones and the presence of 7-methoxyflavones, 6,7-dimethoxyf lavones and 6,7-dimethoxyflavonols confirmed its advanced nature and i ts proposed isolated position within the subgenus, in its own section Eulongifolia.
