Abstract
Flavan-3-ols and an A-type proanthocyanidin have been isolated from se eds of Lupinus angustifolius. The structures of these compounds were e stablished by spectral analyses. The presence of (-)-epicatechin and t wo (-)-epicatechin derivatives with an additional pyran ring condensed at C-7 and C-8 of the epicatechin moiety and an A-type proanthocyanid in was demonstrated.
