Abstract
From a 50% methanol extract of Cuscutae Semen, a new tryptophan deriva tive alkaloid, cuscutamine, and two new lignans, named cuscutosides A and B, along with four known flavonoids, three known lignans, arbutin, chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid and p-coumaric acid were obtained. The ir structures were characterized by spectroscopic means.
