Vp. Mercader et al., CT OF VESICOCORPOREAL FISTULA WITH MENOURIA - A COMPLICATION OF UTERINE BIOPSY, Journal of computer assisted tomography, 19(2), 1995, pp. 324-326
Vesicouterine fistulas are a rare complication of obstetrical-gynecolo
gical interventions and are the least common of the acquired urogenita
l fistulas, They are almost solely associated with cesarean section. A
case is reported in which a patient with adenomyosis and pelvic adhes
ions presented with menouria (vesical menstruation) after uterine biop
sy. A vesicocorporeal fistula was demonstrated by cystography and CT a
nd confirmed by cystoscopy and hysteroscopy.
