R. Kral et al., DETERMINATION OF IRON IN HIGH-PURITY PHOSPHORYL CHLORIDE BY ELECTROTHERMAL ATOMIZATION ATOMIC-ABSORPTION SPECTROMETRY, Analytica chimica acta, 304(2), 1995, pp. 237-241
A procedure is reported for the determination of Fe in high-purity POC
l3 at a concentration level of 10-80 mu g l(-1). Electrothermal atomic
absorption spectrometry was used and liquid POCl3 was directly inject
ed into a graphite tube of the atomizer. The optimum operating conditi
ons of thermal pre-treatment and atomization steps were established. A
calibration line based on the analysis of FeCl3 solutions in water ca
n be used for the determination of Fe in POCl3 with good accuracy.
