Abstract
Heavy metals (Cu, Fe, Zn, Cr) accumulation in soil, water, aquatic wee d and fish samples of sewage-fed ponds of Rahara, North 24 Paraganas w ere studied with the help of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. Amon g the metals studied Fe showed higher concentrations and Cr showed low er concentrations in all the samples. Relationship of various metals i n sewage treated pond water with soil, aquatic weed and fish samples h ave been presented in the present communication.
