Abstract
The distillery effluent effect on Arachis hypogaea L seeds was studied . The effect of effluent on Arachis hypogaea L seedlings growth, catal ase activity, chlorophyll levels, S ALA contents were studied. In high er concentrations on the germination as well as the growth of the seed lings was inhibited. The distillery waste in irrigation water slightly increased the pH, organic matter and conductivity of the solids.
