Abstract
A new algorithm for subpixel accuracy using a correlation-like operati on is described and discussed. We applied this method to digitized coh erent images, where the speckle noise is the most important resolution limitation. In that case, the correlation-like algorithm presents a b etter resolution than the centroid algorithm.
