Abstract
The behavior of electronic states in disordered systems subject to a s trong nonresonant optical field is investigated theoretically. It is s hown that when the optical intensity reaches a critical value which de pends on the site-to-site coupling and the standard deviation of the r andom energy in the disordered system, a sharp transition from localiz ed to extended electronic states takes place.
