Hexaazamocrocyclic complexes ,9,12,14-hexaenato(2-)-N-1,N-4,N-8,N-11]n
ickel(II) and ,9,12,14-hexaenato(2-)-N-1,N-4,N-8,N-11]nickel(II) have
been synthesized by a template procedure starting from an open-chain p
recursor. The crystal structure of both macrocycle products showed a s
quare planar coordination geometry with cis-positioned-SR groups relat
ive to the nickel atom.
