It has been shown that the promotion of industrial catalyst IF-62 by b
eryllium fluoride lowers significantly the poisoning action of cyclope
ntane in the isomerization of n-pentane. It has been established that
beryllium fluoride has no adverse effect on the sulphur resistance of
platinum-alumina catalysts for the isomerization of n-pentane.
