Abstract
Watkins and Le Bihan (1994) suggested an algorithm for interpolation u
sing B-spline basis functions. The authors show in the current Letter
that a simple modification improves its accuracy, and also that an exi
sting technique is more accurate under certain conditions and is less
complex.
