Abstract
This paper presents a brief review of the research on group effect don e at the Peking University in the past several years. The aerodynamic characteristics of two circular cylinders in various arrangements at h igh subcritical and supercritical Reynolds numbers, of rectangular cyl inders of different slenderness ratios as well as of several kinds of groups of cooling towers have been treated.
