nz, Germany, the authors report on different opinions on reproductive
medicine, with particular reference to abortion. In the light of the h
istorical German-Japanese legal relationship, the latest ruling of the
Bundesverfassungsgericht on abortion is discussed, with some remarks
from J. Reiter on its social ethics.
