Abstract
The comparative studies have been carried out on reactivities of pyrid ine, quinoline, isoquinoline, and their BF3 complexes, their N-oxides, and their N-oxide-BF3 complexes, towards the electrophilic reaction t hrough alpha-deprotonation.
