Abstract
The problem of the two-dimensional translational-rotational motion of a rigid body in a central gravitational field is considered. All stead y motions are found, their stability is investigated, and bifurcation diagrams are constructed. New effects resulting from the use of the ex act expression for the gravitational potential are discovered.
