Abstract
For the first time dienediaminoketones enzoyl-2-arylamino-4-dimethylam inobuta-1,3-dienes) have been used in a reaction with benzoquinone and as a result dimethylamino-3-(1'-aryl-3'-benzoyl-5-hydroxyindol -2'-yl )-5-hydroxybenzofurans have been synthesized.
