Abstract
Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs), and diben zofurans (PCDFs), and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and the ir nitroderivatives (nitro-PAHs) have been assayed during the last few years in several environmental matrices relevant for man's exposure a nd risk assessment. This progress report provides an update of the mos t representative results of these analytical investigations.
