Abstract
An alkaloid extract of Narcissus/pseudonarcissus was examined by means of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-EIMS and GC-CIMS). GC-MS of underivatized Amaryllidaceae alkaloids was performed for the first time. Most of the alkaloids seem to be suitable for GC, although haema nthamine and lycorenine decompose partly under the GC conditions used.
