Abstract
From the methanol extract of the bark of S. buxifolia Reiss (Rhamnacea e), a new cyclopeptidic alkaloid, together with the already known alka loids scutianines-B-E, were isolated. On the basis of elemental analys is, mass spectroscopy (EI and FAB) and H-1 NMR spectroscopy, the molec ular structure of scutianine-J has been elucidated.
