Abstract
The author of 'Under Cover,' an article in the December 1994 CIVIL ENG INEERING, made a case for clay-based landfill closures in areas where seismic stability is a major concern. Here, two writers offer reasons why textured flexible membrane liners are more reliable and efficient.
