Abstract
Acoustic wave generation under the interaction of two spin wave pulses propagating with different velocities in a ferromagnetic film has bee n predicted. The width of the acoustic wave pulse is thousands of time s greater than the width of the spin wave pulses. The peak amplitude o f the acoustic wave pulse is proportional to the correlation function of the amplitudes of the spin wave pulses.
