The existing situation for Chinese Merino sheep, type Junken in Xinjia
ng region, which for development of the breeding plan was used to opti
mize the breeding program is described. In this context they are dealt
with separately following: - economic and population genetic paramete
rs, - biological and technical coefficients, - parameters of populatio
n structure, - components of breeding costs and parameters of investme
nt and - information sources for the estimating breeding values. With
the help of a deterministic model the expected response for monetary a
nd natural gain as well as far breeding return, costs and profit was e
stimated. The results showed that breeding response of three lines wer
e same nearly and their selection criteria would be unified.
