A. Angielski et al., THEORETICAL CONFORMATIONAL-ANALYSIS OF INSECT NEUROPEPTIDE PROCTOLIN AND ITS SELECTED ANALOGS, Bulletin of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Chemistry, 42(2), 1994, pp. 277-283
There are presented the results of the Monte Carlo screening of the co
nformational energy space accessible to insect neuropeptide proctolin
and its several bioactive analogues obtained by modifications of the p
eptide chain in positions 1 or 2 of the parent compound. By combining
the Monte Carlo screening with the cluster analysis, conformations whi
ch are common for most analogues under study could be found and descri
bed.
