Abstract
In the title compound, a P ...delta(+)-C-atom distance is observed in the solid state which falls within the range of literature values for the span of delta(-)...delta(-) charges in the active site of insect a cetylcholinesterase (AChE), but is outside the range for mammalian ACh E. The structure of azinphos ethyl is comparable to that of the methyl analog.
