Abstract
Pirenperone, C23H24FN3O2, a serotonin-2 antagonist, has a nearly plana r pyrido-pyrimidine moiety connected by an ethylpiperidyl bridge to an almost planar fluorobenzoyl moiety, The planar parts are perpendicula r to each other [98.7 (2)degrees]. The packing of the molecules is gov erned only by van der Waals contacts.
