G. Cremer et al., EXPERIMENTAL MYCETOMA DUE TO MADURELLA-MYCETOMATIS IN NON-IMMUNODEFICIENT LABORATORY MICE, Medical microbiology letters, 4(2), 1995, pp. 76-82
A study was performed to investigate the ability of Madurella mycetoma
tis to cause experimental mycetoma in nonimmunocompromised laboratory
mice. Repeated intraperitoneal inoculations were performed and allowed
us to obtain fungal grains. Subcutaneous infestation did not lead to
grain formation.
