Abstract
Various new 4-arylamine-6-methyl-2-phenyl-5-methylamine and 5-alcoxy-m ethylpyrimidine were synthesized in two chemical series from amine-6-m ethyl-2-phenyl-5-hydroxymethylpyrimidines . Some of these products, la rgely original, display immunomodulatory activities comparable to that of levamisole. The depicted compounds may be considered as examples o f a new series of immunomodulators.
