Abstract
To predict the possibility of formation of eta-Zr4Fe2Ox ternary interm etallics of Ti2Ni type structure during interaction between Zr-Fe melt and added oxide, the thermodynamic calculations for Zr-Fe-R(x)O(y) sy stems were done. The influence of oxide addition on the hydrogen absor ption properties of Zr2Fe alloys was studied.
