Abstract
Through the use of the reactive flux method the compounds Cs3Ti3Te11, Cs5CuHf2Te10, Cs8Hf5UTe30.6 and CsUT6 have been synthesized. These mat erials comprise Cs+ cations and one-dimensional chain anions. The stru ctural features of these chains are discussed.
