Abstract
The measurement of the thermal inertia of moist porous materials by ac tive thermal monitoring is analyzed. Various solutions of the heat-con duction problem are investigated, and the assumptions introduced to si mplify data collection are discussed. An error analysis is carried out , providing a means for optimizing the chosen testing method.
