L. Garrote et Rl. Bras, AN INTEGRATED SOFTWARE ENVIRONMENT FOR REAL-TIME USE OF A DISTRIBUTEDHYDROLOGIC MODEL, Journal of hydrology, 167(1-4), 1995, pp. 307-326
The software environment developed to use a distributed rainfall-runof
f model in real time is described. The package, called Real-time Inter
active Basin Simulator (RIBS), manages the realtime operation of the s
imulation model, providing several modes of user access to data, resul
ts and intermediate states. The user interface can generate hydrograph
s at any point within the basin, display the time evolution of model v
ariables for any grid element, or represent the spatial distribution o
f basic or derived variables.
