Abstract
The correlation functions of pairs of identical pions, extracted from pi(+/-) meson production in pi(-)A (A = p, d, C, Cu, Pb) collisions at 38 GeV/c by high-P-t trigger, show an enhancement at small values of the pions' relative momenta. The radii R of the pion source were calcu lated using different parametrizations in pion interferometry. The val ues of R vary from 0.8 to 2 fm in different interactions with P-t > 1 GeV/c. Significant changes of the pion source parameters for different P-t momenta cuts have not been observed.
