A method for the parameter identification of nonlinear differential eq
uations using Fourier series is discussed. Operational matrix of integ
ration, as well as one shot operational matrix for repeated integratio
n is used to reduce the identification problem to that of solving syst
ems of algebraic equations. The method is computationally attractive a
nd applications are demonstrated through illustrative examples.
