Abstract
The dipole-dipole interaction energy for a rare-earth subsystem of CsG d(MoO4)(2) is estimated and the magnetic structure of its ground state is determined. Using a pure dipole approximation, the temperature dep endences of magnetic susceptibility and magnetic heat capacity are cal culated for a paramagnetic region. The calculated results are in satis factory agreement with experimental data.
