J. Barrault et N. Biwole, CONVERSION OF SYNGAS INTO LIQUID HYDROCAR BONS - INFLUENCE OF THE SUPPORT AND PROMOTERS ON COBALT CATALYSTS, Bulletin des Societes chimiques belges, 104(3), 1995, pp. 149-153
The hydrocondensation of carbon monoxide into liquid hydrocarbons was
studied in presence of cobalt catalysts modified with cerium, lanthanu
m or manganese salts and supported on carbon. After an oxidative activ
ation of the support, the addition of cerium to cobalt increases the (
C5-C11) fraction while the addition of manganese increases the (C12-C2
5) fraction.
