Abstract
Some features of the biology of the two-spot ladybird Adalia bipunctat a L. and the conditions of its laboratory culturing are discussed. Stu dies of color inheritance, population and ecological genetics, sexual selection, and factors determining sex ratio in families and populatio ns are reviewed. The prospects for genetic investigations of Adalia bi punctata are considered.
