Abstract
Optimization of the three-dimensional pore structure of a hydrodemetal lation catalyst is described. A random network model with different co nnectivities has been used. The influence of connectivity, diffusion c oefficient, outer dimension of pellet and operating time on optimal po re structure have been investigated. Numerical methods employed are di scussed. How some limitations of capillary network models are overcome is discussed.
