Innominate artery compression of the trachea in children is a rare cau
se of respiratory distress. Surgical intervention is mandatory in a se
lected group of individuals. In this report we describe an original te
chnique of suspension of the innominate artery using a pericardium ''H
ammock''. Our experience about one patient is reported. The advantage
of this technique compare to other procedures is discussed.
