Abstract
A mixture of free caprylic acid and fructose caprylates obtained by bi ocatalysis was separated by molecular distillation (short path distill ation). The optimum temperature and pressure (60 degrees C and 0.1 mu bar) take account of the heat-sensitivity of these compounds.
